1ST HALF 2026-2027 CITY TAX  

Collector’s Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll & Warrant   

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I, Joyce Warthling, Collector of Taxes in the City of Lackawanna, County of Erie and State of New York, have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the City of Lackawanna for the 1st Half 2026-2027 City of Lackawanna Tax Levy.  I will be present during the month of August 2026, from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, for the purpose of receiving taxes listed on the said roll at:

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid on or before the 31st of August 2026, without interest.  On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of two per centum (2%) for the month of September and an additional two per centum (2%) for each additional month or fraction thereof until such taxes are paid.

Tax Information

On or about August 1st, all taxpayers will receive THREE (3) BILLS: 1st Half City, 2nd Half City and School taxes.

A separate bill for Erie County taxes will be sent out on or about January 15th.
